When simply interacting with his friends, Loki behaves in a jovial and oftentimes "little brother"-like role, in which he joked freely about his friends, and even made fun of them when they made mistakes. He has a close friendship with his brother Hiro, with whom he is able to joke with. Loki also seemed to take great pleasure in creating back-formations, by removing prefixes from commonly-used words such as "disaster", "distraught", "overwhelmed", and "infiltrated" to create new words.

Loki is incredibly flippant, casually mouthing off to even the most powerful of foes, and he generally enjoys rubbing people the wrong way. He does mature as time goes by, but never really loses his attitude. Loki is sometimes presented as a show off as, on several occasions, he performs exaggerated and over-the-top moves. Loki is seemingly unflappable, not showing fear whether he's being attacked by more powerful enemies. Loki rarely shows any seriousness, although he can be serious when the situation calls for it, but he still maintains a fairly laid-back demeanor during such situations and is never without a witty taunt or comeback.

He can seem at times to be uncaring or even callous, but actually has a very strong sense of justice and prefers to fight fairly. He can be counted on to do the right thing, even if he makes cynical quips about it the entire time. Loki has little qualms about accepting old enemies who choose the side of good. Loki values family and friends very highly. He also enjoys pokemon battles, shown when he sometimes doesn't make his pokemon fight at their full potential so he can toy with his opponent or make a fight last longer. Loki 's enjoyment of pokemon battles was reflected in his dialogue with Hiro during which he asked him if he agreed with him that a pokemon battle every now and then makes life more interesting.

Despite verbally complaining about being in debt, he is usually seen playing casino games and betting him money away. He often borrows from Hiro or gambles to repay these debts. However, he has extremely bad luck with all forms gambling (Loki even has bad luck with a simple coin toss). Loki has a fondness for pizza, and while he complains about olives, he always ends up with them on his pizza. His liking for pizza was so great that he believes that pizza is the "best food ever". He is also shown to favor cheeseburgers with it being pointed out on several occasions that those two foods are all he eats. He has a habit of getting roaring drunk; where he at one point he got so drunk that he proposed to a mop.

Illusion: When sent out into battle, it takes the name and appearance of the last non-fainted Pokémon within your party. It breaks when an attack does damage on the Pokémon but not from Weather Effects or Entry Hazards.

History/Background:

Loki was born in the region of Johto in the city called Goldenrod. He had a normal childhood like any other kid his age before Team Rocket took over the world. His father was a top class criminal lawyer and was sought after by many people, even those of shady character which caused his father to travel a lot. Loki's mother on the other hand was a stay at home mom, and made sure that Loki had what he needed but never really spoiling him unless she thought the deserved it. Like kids his age Loki was very facinated by Pokémon and Pokébattles and he couldn't wait until he could go out and become a Pokémon trainer.

On his 10th birthday Loki's father was home and gave Loki his very first pokemon. He was given a pokéball and inside it contained a male Zorua a rare pokémon that usually only seen in Unova. Little to say Loki was very excited as he would be the only kid with a unique pokémon out of all of his friends. That same day he called over his friend Hiro to check out his new pokémon. Loki was very close to Hiro they had a brother like bond with each other, and would hangout and talk about pokémon and battle each other.

One day when Loki was 15 he told his parents that he wanted to travel the world and become a pokémon master like so many other kids at his age would say to their parents. Loki's father laughed a bit at that notion as he expect Loki to follow in his foots steps, and his mother just sighed at that thought and figured that it was a phase. His parents decided to sit and talk about him being a pokémon trainer. They talked and talked for hours until they all agreed that Loki would finish high school first so he would at least have his diploma.

When was 18 on his last year of high school the unthinkable happened; Team Rocket had taken over the world and became a force to truly be reckoned with. Due to his father's job and having connections Loki was able to get a trainer card from team rocket that allowed him to keep and capture his pokémon so long as he followed the rules that team rocket had laid out. One year later Loki decied to head out and become the pokémon trainer that he dreamt of being. He heard news of a new team called Team Exodus who is made up of ex elite four champions and their open rebellion against team rocket. He figured should he ever have a chance to join team exodus he would.
