He headed out of the town known as Sandgem and headed towards the grass looking for some new pokemon to be friends with him and Floritine, he wondered how the encounter would be or if he could even catch a pokemon, he just hoped he could catch it before it ran.

a normal starly appeared and peered over at ryo and stopped but was weary of his intentions.

He walked diagonally from the starly, yet waking towards it at the same time, just far enough that he could throw a pokeball. Yet he creeped up and watched it.

the pokeball rocked from left to right and then settled and a bing sound is heard as he caught the starly.
